My Bluetooth Devices are Not Connecting

If your app says "Bluetooth not connected" use the following methods to troubleshoot the issue:

Troubleshooting

If your spirometer or pulse oximeter isn’t connecting to the Wellinks app, try the following steps:

  1. Confirm that Bluetooth is turned on
    1. IOS: settings > Bluetooth > Toggle Bluetooth on
    2. Android: Settings > Connected devices > Toggle Bluetooth on
  2. Check your Bluetooth privacy settings
    1. iOS: settings > privacy > Bluetooth > toggle Wellinks on
    2. Android: settings > apps > Wellinks > permissions > toggle allow Location
  3. Check that your Bluetooth device batteries are installed correctly.
  4. Restart your phone to reset the Bluetooth connection
  5. Check to see if there are other Bluetooth receiving devices (phones, tablets, etc) in the area; turn them off in case they are currently trying to connect with your device.
  6. Verify the latest Wellinks app version
    1. iPhone owners can download the latest app version by using this Apple App Store link.
    2. Android phone owners can download the latest app version using this Google Play Store link.
  7. Verify that you have the latest iOS or Android operating system
  8. If you have the SmartOne (Spirometer), Oxiline (Pulse Oximeter), or Nonin (Pulse Oximeter) apps on your mobile device, verify that those apps are able to connect to your device. If they are, delete the SmartOne, Oxiline, and/or Nonin app, it may interfere with Wellinks ability to connect.
  9. If you have another Bluetooth connected smartphone or tablet, download the Wellinks app to the second device and see if the spirometer or pulse oximeter will connects to it. If the Bluetooth devices connect to your other smartphone or tablet, please email support@wellinks.com for additional troubleshooting.

Note: If you own multiple MIR spirometer, the Wellinks app can only connect with one MIR spirometer at a time. Remove the batteries from your second Spirometer and try again.
