How to Join Zoom

The recommended steps to joining a zoom call are below. All Wellinks meetings created should have a meeting link that is in your confirmation email. If you cannot find your link, please contact your Wellinks care team member and they can send resend the call link to you.

Steps to join from a computer - Recommended

  1. Find your session confirmation or reminder email. If you cannot find the email, you can search your inbox for your Wellinks care team member's name and it should show up.
  2. Click on the 'Join zoom' button of the email.
  3. If you do not have zoom on your computer, you may select 'Download Now.' Double click on the installation file and follow the prompts on your screen.
  4. If prompted, select 'open' to give permission for your computer to open the zoom app.
  5. If you join before the meeting has started, you will be brought to a waiting screen.
  6. Enter your name if prompted.
  7. Select 'Join with Video' if prompted
  8. Your Wellinks care team member will admit you to the meeting.
  9. Select 'Join with Computer Audio'.
  10. You should be in the meeting. Make sure that both your microphone and your camera are on by pressing on the screen and checking that there are not red slashes through the microphone or camera. You can press the microphone to mute or unmute. You can press the camera to turn your camera on or off.

Steps to join from a tablet or phone

Note - it is recommended that you join Wellinks calls from a computer to ensure the best experience. 

  1. Find your session confirmation or reminder email. If you cannot find the email, you can search your inbox for your Wellinks care team member's name and it should show up.
  2. Click on the 'Join zoom' button of the email.
  3. If you do not have zoom on your computer, you may click 'Download Now' to install zoom. Double click the installation file and follow the instructions on your machine.
  4. If you join before the meeting has started, you will be brought to a waiting room. You do NOT need to click 'Sign In'.
  5. Once your Wellinks care team member starts the meeting you will be added to the meeting. 
  6. Select 'Join with video' if prompted.
  7. Your Wellinks care team member will admit you to the meeting.
  8. You will be asked what audio to use. Select 'Wifi or Cellular Data' when prompted.
  9. You should be in the meeting. Make sure that both your microphone and your camera are on by pressing on the screen and checking that there are not red slashes through the microphone or camera. You can press the microphone to mute or unmute. You can press the camera to turn your camera on or off.
